Guidelines / Instructions

1.      It is preferable that the members of a trekking group keep same level of physical fitness.  If someone falls behind due   to lack of physical fitness, etc, it is the responsibility of the entire group to ensure that the person is somehow brought to  the camp or base.
2.      Be independent. Carry one's own pack. Pack should not exceed 15 kg.
3.     The trekking should be planned in advance along with the work out of the pace of the trek from point to point. This will enable reaching the destination well before dark, as trekking is dangerous after sunset.
4.     Carry water containers. Fill many bottles with drinking water. Expect some fresh water brooks. You may boil the water for consumption. It works out well. But, be careful in analyzing the brook. Look around for live healthy insects/fish to confirm if the water is consumable. Healthy insects means the water is consumable.
5.     Do not leave the fire that you setup unattended. Put the fire off in the end. Clear the fire area off the dry twigs and grass.
6.      It is expected that the trekkers behave civilly, show respect and cooperate with each other.
7.      Avoid littering, shouting, spitting, singing or using transistors and music systems during the trek.
8.      If a trekker is lost, he should stay at the same spot and keep blowing the whistle at regular interval.  A search party will be organized to find him. He should never react in panic.
9.      Never throw en-route or at camp anything you have brought. Follow Leave No Trace' principle. Collect all waste in the garbage bag & bring it back. If you find any left behind by others, be good enough to collect that too.
10.   Everyone has to follow the instructions of Camp In-charge & instructors
11.  No shortcut in trek
12.  Smoking & Drinking are strictly prohibited.
13.  Anyone found smoking or consuming alcohol will be expelled from trek there and then itself.
14.  Keep the campsite clean
15.  Do carry your Mobile Phones.
